·  Har Gobind Khorana ,He is an Indo-American Bio Chemist. He jointly received the Nobel Prize for Physiology / Medicine for the year 1968 with Marshall W. Nirenberg and Robert W. Holley for his efforts to show how the nucleotides in nucleic acids, which carry the genetic code of the cell, control the cell’s synthesis of proteins.

·  C.V. Raman ,Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, an Indian physicist who is famous for his research on "inelastic scattering of a photon (Raman Effect)". He won the Nobel Prize for Physics in the year 1930 for his discovery that when light traverses a transparent material, some of the deflected light changes in wavelength.

·  Rabindranath Tagore  He was a Bengali poet, philosopher, artist, playwright, composer and novelist. He is famous for his book Gitanjali. He won Nobel Prize in Literature for the year 1913. He became the first non-European to win this Award.
